The
Design

R&P was inspired by paint strokes and textures found in traditional Chinese art and used these in fun and approachable illustrations throughout the exhibit to reflect the panda’s rich history in Chinese culture. To support the Zoo’s sustainable initiatives, natural materials and inks used conform to the International Living Future Institute’s standards. Interactive elements in the exhibit provide an engaging way for visitors of all ages to learn about panda and forest conservation. Throughout the exhibit, playful and whimsical illustrations help to tell the story of this beautiful yet endangered species.
