The
Design
The R5 Lounge has a contemporary feel that is luxurious, chic, and comfortable. It provides a relaxing haven that is a break from the excitement of the gaming floor. The expansive space is divided into distinct, free-flowing levels designed as individual areas for special gatherings as well as connected spaces for larger social events. The multi-level seating takes advantage of spectacular views of Niagara Falls, while also creating spaces to see and be seen. Glass sculptures cascade from the ceiling while generous seating, glowing fireplaces and illuminated panels of brilliant colors offer an inviting, welcoming, and atmospheric setting for VIP visitors.
The bar is elevated, allowing patrons to take in stunning views of Niagara Falls while they enjoy live music being played on the grand piano that sits on a raised platform. The entrance and host station reflect the contemporary feel of the Lounge interior, where warm lighting and intimate spaces welcome the Fallsview Casino’s VIP patrons.

Result
The R5 Lounge delivers a powerful impact for its valued VIP clientele who have deemed the experience ‘A Must Experience’ attraction and a rejuvenating pause from the excitement of the gaming experience. The views of Niagara Falls from the interior, and the dramatic roaring thunder of the Falls from the exterior, are powerful aspects of the setting that have been integrated into the design. At times, the evening flood lighting of Niagara Falls is synchronized with the lighting of the bar.
